Job Description
Do you want to have a key leadership role in a fast growing entrepreneurial company ? Do you have the right stuff to lead the companys efforts in their contract with the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to support their virtual contract call center strategy? Our client has an impressive list of customers which include 1-800 Medicare, Indiana Department of Environmental Management, (IDEM) Indiana Department of Education (IDOE), Department of Health and Human Services, (CMS) Dana Corporation, Eli Lilly, WellPoint, Walgreens, and NGS.
Our client, with their subcontractors, provides training, content, and independent quality assurance support for Medicares Beneficiary Contact Centers. As Vice President of TQC, you will direct this project. You will lead a team of 4 direct reports and a large team of employees to ensure compliance with all deliverables and contract terms.. You will build and drive optimal integrated strategic processes. You will set the pace for a hard driving organization. You will oversee operational activities to facilitate the smooth and efficient delivery of the work product across multiple functions by supporting a collaborative team environment. You will create, control, and improve the business processes to ensure timely, error-free, quality products are delivered. You will work closely with three constituents: CMS, the staff on contract at the CMS sites, and the internal staff who will report to you either directly or indirectly. You must be able to build the trust and confidence of all three constituents.
Your background must include:
* Bachelors degree; MBA a plus
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience managing large groups of people and complex organizations.
* IT Consulting experience with a Big 4 (or formerly Big 6) firm
* Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid helpful, but not required
* Experience working with the federal government helpful but not required
* Strong process oriented background; ISO experience preferred
* Six Sigma training strongly preferred
* Superior writing skills with the ability to write compelling business summaries
* Demonstrated skills in solving complex and significant problems
* Ability to work in a high pressure government contracting environment
* Solid project management skills leading projects with over 100 people: PMP a plus
* Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills
* Ability to facilitate process improvement
* Strong oral and verbal communication skills including outstanding presentation skills
* Willing to travel a minimum of 50% in the first six months. Travel may be reduced to 25% long term.
