Underwriting Technician -

Our client specialices in Workers Compensation insurance for the marine industry. They have just promoted someone in this position to a full fledged Underwriter and need someone to fill these shoes as quickly as possible.

This is an entry level position for this firm and a Golden Opportunity for someone who would like the opportunity to grow within the industry.

Our client is looking for a self motivated individual with strong attention to detail to assist their Underwriting Team with preparing and placing new and renewal Commercial Marine accounts.

They are seeking someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in Commercial Lines Insurance (including Workers Compensation). The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication and computer skills to include Excel, working well both independently and as a part of the team.

The position is full time. The salary will be commensurante with experience and responsibility.
