Job Description
Iteration Manager

We are beginning several long term projects and we will be using the Agile development methodology. We are in need of an experienced Iteration Manager for these projects that can lead the team through the iterative development process and successfully deliver the functionality to our customers.
As an Iteration Manager you will:
Facilitate Standup Meetings and Iteration Planning Meetings.
Monitor the progress of the developers during the iteration.
Identify and remove roadblocks for the team.
Escalate issues appropriately.
Communicate status effectively.
Adjust work assignments as necessary.
Ensure processes are being followed.
Drive the team to successfully deliver functionality at the end of each iteration.
Create Implementation Plans.
Act as the liaison between Business and IT.

We will consider candidate who have:
A bachelors degree in computer science or management information systems from an accredited four-year college or university or comparable work experience.
Two or more years of experience as an Iteration Manager for a high performing team.
Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.

Priority consideration to candidates who have one of the following:
Insurance industry application development experience.
