Emerging Texas based P&C Commercial Lines Managing General Agent is in need of an established Territory Sales Manager that consistently out performs their peers. The Sales Manager will work to establish, strengthen and manage agency relationships on behalf of the company in the Lubbock and surrounding west Texas areas.  Our client's focused on finding an individual who values company culture as much as they do company integrity and performance. This position will enable the individual to work from home with minimal travel outside of the assigned territory.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:         
• Prospect independent agencies.
• Bring qualified agency prospects to closure.
• Register all sales activity through provided CRM software.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing manager to establish service standards and new customer profile delivery.
• Work collaboratively to enhance sales approach and marketing materials.
• Establish corporate presence with appropriate industry organizations.
 
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-        Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field PREFFERED but not required.  -       
-        Possess 3-5 years of direct or indirect commercial agency experience with at least 2 of those in your current territory
-        Strong commercial lines knowledge base and current portfolio of existing agency relationships a plus.
-        Ability to work independently and have effective time management capabilities is necessary 
-        Will need to spend time in the home office planning the week and work efficiently without the need of micro management.
-        The Territory Sales Manager should reside in the territory in which they serve and must have reliable transportation, adequate insurance and a clean driving record
