Our client a, Financial Services Firm seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant.
Administrative Duties:
Prepare applications and forms
Review applications and forms for accuracy and address any discrepancies
Handle incoming calls and inquiries from Financial Representatives and their staff
Prepare and send client correspondence on behalf of the Financial Representatives
Initiate follow up calls and e-mails with Financial Representatives and their staff and clients
Arrange medical, paramedical and any exams necessary for insurance underwriting
Monitor Daily Status Report (DSR); expedite any additional underwriting requirements
Act as liaison between home office and Financial Representatives and their staff and clients
Open and distribute mail to appropriate individuals
Prepare outgoing interoffice and overnight mail
Maintain securities check logs and required operations files
Work closely with Supervisors and advise of any potential red flags
Prior administrative assistant experience
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to collaborate effectively with others
Ability to multi task and prioritize
Bachelor’s Degree required
Securities industry experience a BIG +
